Use BuddyBoss or PeepSo as a theme other than the official theme

BuddyBoss and PeepSo have their own themes. They are the most optimized, and the themes themselves are professional and top-notch. I would like to use this theme even if I don't use BuddyBoss or PeepSo. In fact, I use it on several sites.

However, since everyone has different preferences when it comes to design, we decided to test what would happen if we used a theme other than the dedicated one.

BuddyBoss

I see, it's the same as BuddyPress. You can use it without any problems with themes other than the dedicated one, but it will be the same as BuddyPress. To display it beautifully as you want, it's better to adjust the CSS or look for a theme that is strong with BuddyPress.

BuddyBoss also has bbPress built in, and the display of this bulletin board becomes very beautiful when using a dedicated theme, but if you use a theme other than the dedicated theme, it will be replaced by the plain design of the original bbPress. That's probably the biggest price to pay.

However, it will work with any theme without any loss of functionality.

PeepSo

This has been verified before and has been operated with a non-dedicated theme, so there is no problem.
However, there will always be themes that suit you and ones that don't, so you'll need to make your own adjustments.

By the way, this site is built and operated without using the BuddyBoss dedicated theme.

Reign - The Peak Theme

I use a theme that is strong against BuddyBoss and PeepSo, so I can use it without any problems.

I think it's best to use a dedicated theme, and this theme is quite customizable, but if you absolutely want to make changes or use a different theme, then give it a try.

However, since the plugin is quite multifunctional, I think it would be difficult to use a theme with TCD membership functions. This is because there are many overlapping functions such as login and registration. I recommend using a general-purpose theme rather than a specialized theme.

Please note that we have not tested all of them.
